Who will be hit hardest by a recession? The BIG ole honkin companies or the mom at home running her own home business or direct sales business?
I like to think the big companies are the ones that will get hammered. While the stay at home mom, who has been single handedly building relationships with clients, hosting parties and becoming informed on every aspect of her business and products or services will quietly sail through hard times.
Building rapport and REAL relationships is something women are able to do without even trying. We love to communicate, share and help others.
So…are you at home right now thinking….I wish my business were better? I wish I had more clients?
Maybe it’s time to really give it 100%.
Be the one with the recession proof home business.
What are ways to start doing just that?

I found your blog while trying to justify to my husband that being able to start up and run a home base business will work – it can make money – and most of all I can be able to stay at home with our two children. We both work for the same large company that just went through 2 major layoffs. Thank heavens we both made it through without getting laid off…but we may not be so lucky the next time. So I joined Arbonne as an Independent Consultant. I opened up an online store – http://www.purenature.myarbonne.com – with the goal to make products available to customers 24/7 without needing to attend or host a party. Let’s face it, our lives are crazy enough. I am lucky to get the laundry finished, dinner ready, baths at a decent hour, not to mention paying the bills and keeping in touch with family and friends. My website has allowed me to stay connected – work at 5am (who wants to attend a party that early in the morning) and start to build stability in making the transition from working in corporate america to working at home. Thanks for having a great blog for moms like me to find. I will be sure to put your link on my Community Support page. Be Back soon!
