I was given a dell dimension 2400 tower, the guy traded it to my broke old, very old computer. I haven't had any problems with it but when I do have problems with our other older ones, I go to one of the free tech forums and they help me thru them. I have worked on several of my own, adding RAM, CDROMS and even a hard drive once.
The guy that gave me the tower only did it because he's an IT guy and fixes them and I really needed a better one than I had.
You know the reason you can't understand most of the people at Dell or Microsoft support is that they contract their support to India.
I would love to be able to buy one from Dell, but I never get approved for their credit. All I have bad is some medical bills from years ago, and they aren't supposed to count that against you, but I guess Dell DOES. Go figure.

Hi Kelly,
You should get on Twitter about your computer. Charles Gibson did a news segment telling how big companies are monitoring the site to find complaints about their products/service. Maybe Dell has someone doing this and will see your complaint. Worth a try!
