Money Suckage.
Mental Health Suckage.
Time Suckage.
Dell needs to make vacuums because they have SUCKING perfected.
Anyone that reads my blog is fully aware of the Dell ‘Turd of a Computer’ Hell SAGA I have been through in the past year.
It’s literally like throwing money into a bottomless pit. I’d get more use from my money if I used it for toilet paper rather than buying something from Dell. (Dell Hell Saga)
And just when I think I could NOT hate Dell much more for sending me an expensive hunk of junk of a computer WITH the GOLD warranty (Oh God…lets not forget the totally useless GOLD warranty that is basically a phone number to a ‘Call India Hotline’ that will pretty much make you feel suicidal by the time you hang up!!!!) — NOW the $700….yes….$700, 24″ inch UltraSharp 2407FPW Widescreen Digital FlatPanel – has been crowned “Piece O’ Crap” as well.
I bought this monitor thinking it would really help me out because of all the work I do on my websites. It’s how I make my living….10 hours a day on the computer can cause some eye strain. I figured it was kind of like investing in my eyesight…my health.
Oh FUG that….my mental health is suffering exponentially. The darn monitor will not turn off and on now. Nope…..it won’t. Ya know why??? Apparently the little push button thing doesn’t want to work anymore. I went online….to see if there was a way to fix it…..
Jesus…..do you know how many other people are having this issue?? ALOT! (FixYa -Others with same problem) Now I ask you…..what should one do when your monitor is
no longer under warranty (Oh and the word warranty means SO much these days!!), yet you’ve only had it about 16 months??
I can tell you this much…..it shouldn’t even be broken at this point!!! I mean Geezopete – it’s ONLY 16 months old DELL??????????? That’s $43.75 a month so far….and it’s already broken??
My husband….bless his heart….pried the power button off, got the monitor to turn back on and now tells me I can only turn it on/off through the power strip.
Lovely….
Isn’t that COOL?? NOT!!
Again…
I am warning ALL small business owners to NOT buy a DELL!! I am a work at home mom running a small home business that relies on the internet (and a computer that works in order to access the internet!!). Small business owners are treated like crap by Dell. My friend told me that when they have a Dell go bad at his company….they ask no questions and send them a new one. Me….just a one person business….DELL has taken a huge crap on me.
For me to come up with $4000 to pay for what I thought was going to be a super helpful, super deluxe computer and monitor for my home business was not easy. Like I said…I had to initially put it on a DELL credit account at 19.24% interest!! So I had to choke even more down in interest as well!!!
It’s a disgrace.
I have already talked to a local computer company and they told me that the return rate on Dell’s was 1 out of every 2??? Now…I don’t know if that’s true….and I don’t know where this company got their numbers…..but if it’s even remotely true – Dell needs to just take a step back and figure out the problem and stop taking people’s money.
Have your computer built locally with a reputable company!!! Even if you do buy a Dell and get the GOLD Warranty thinking that will give you extra protection – it won’t. It will only send you on a indescribable, frustrating and humiliating roller coaster ride. A sadist would be in tears.
At least now I have a matching set. A Dell crap ton computer and a Dell crap ton monitor.
Thanks Dell for taking a huge dump in this work at home mom’s home office!! I will give you kudos on your sucking power….incredible.
I looked up the definition of “dell” – ‘A small secluded, wooded valley’. Trust me….it’s the perfect name for this company. You’ll FEEL like you’re in a small, secluded, wooded valley when you start having issues with your Dell product. You’ll feel all alone….yelling for help….with no one there to hear you. You’ll cry out…..only to hear the sound of sucking wind.
