Actually, I *do* feel frumpy. Most of that boils down to the fact that I haven't lost the weight I gained during my pregnancy and the NICU stay/surgery of my youngest, age 3.

I'd LOVE to look cute (as cute as an overweight 33 year old mom of 2 can). But I feel like I can't really pull together a nice look. I meet friends for lunch and feel like a bum.

HELP! If you have any advice, I'm all ears.

You go girl! I am so glad someone said what I was thinking. I have been a " stay at home mom " forever. Like you I beleive that we are the fiber that holds the rest of the world together. I have worked outside the home and trust me it is easier. When you deal with children and all the family stuff on top of working at home it takes someone with true grit. The emotional aspect of making decisions where your children are concerned is very difficult. It is much easier in my opinion to make corportate decisions, though hard it doesn't require the emotions it does when dealing with ones family. For the most part you can walk away from the corporate world. But when you work from home you do it all.

No we are not in PJs all day. However sometimes I think this would be a plus over some of the attire that I have seen in the workplace.

So onward and upward the world is our oyster.
