June 3rd is National Repeat Day – As a Mom, Isn’t Every Day Repeat Day?

by HomeBasedBusinessMom on June 3, 2010

Repeat DaySo June 3rd is National Repeat Day huh?
What the??
I said….What the??

Definition: Repeat Day is always June 3rd. Repeat Day is an opportunity to do things over and over again.

OK – don’t get me wrong. I love holidays. Even some of the stupid ones -  But Repeat Day?
So for me – this means I get to do laundry, cook, clean, work and feel frazzled twice as much as I normally do?

OH and the most pleasurable…..I get to ask my kids to clean up their messes, pick up their dirty clothes and get their homework done MORE times than I already do. Geeesh….I’ll sound like an auctioneer!

This day is going to be exhausting. But there is a bright spot.
Always. Need I repeat myself? No.

I’ll drink MORE than just ONE Starbucks iced mocha. Yep….gotta find that silver lining on even the dumbest holidays!

So go forth and repeat moms!! And if it means eating two pieces of chocolate or taking TWO well deserved breaks….hey, go for it.

OH….and by the way…..Go for it.
*Sorry….couldn’t help myself. LOL
